the curry taste is kinda powerful even with half a packet of campbell soup instant seasoning

started using 2 new softwares like 3 days back
one of it, as u haf seen in my profile tab, is xfire
the other is nod32 smart security


i'll start off with nod32
i have been using nod32 antivirus for like 1-2yrs
n so far i have been satisfied with its performance
some of u might haf hrd that i have a VERY powerful antivirus
dat quarantines ALL my application files once a threat has been detected
well, this is the legendary antivirus that i have been talking abt. =)
but now, they released "nod32 smart security"
its like several security programs all integrated into one

n its still as powerful as ever
including the firewall
it blocks off my whole internet connection! XD
(my new toy which enables me to "lock" my internet to prevent my bro frm using my com.. mwahahahahah~)

*don't u find hackers these days to be getting really creative in releasing cracks so that programs like this which is supposed to have a price can in fact be used for free?*

its like every gamer's dream program
here's the screenie:

it automatically detects all ur games upon installation
logs the time u clocked for each game (provided xfire is on during ur duration of play)
displays wad game u're playing currently on a userbar which can be put up anywhere as long as u can key in html codes (like my profile tab)
automatically dl updates for ur games whenever there's one
n its a messenger service, so u can chat wif ur frens and know wad they are playing at the current moment
it can even show u which server they're in
n since its messenger + games manager, it can automatically reduce ur file sharing dl/ul spd once it detects dat u launch a game
cool rite?
i really recommend this nasty little program for all gamers out there
it is relli that gawddamned cool. =D

i'll explain the situation
our grp was kind enough to distribute worksheets with CROSSWORD PUZZLES and MCQs for the other groups to do, and maybe a few one-liner short ans qns at the back
while the 4 worksheets that we had to do, had ESSAY QUESTIONS in them.
u shld relli put the 2 worksheets (ours and theirs) side by side:
one will ask u to state something.. 1mark
the other will ask u to list the differences of something.. 10marks <-- wtf?
and u may be thinking, since the later worksheet has higher weightage qns, so there will be lesser qns rite?
but guess wad?
Nooooo...
we had to put thru like 10-15 long ans qns
wth...


so, when we finally exchanged the worksheets to mark,
we sure had lots of fun.
its freaking farnie to see their answers
u can see all the blind-copying-from-illegible-handwriting work being done
the word "unami" can change into something like "kinami" after going thru so many scripts
and the best part of it was.. "unami" was the wrong answer in the first place. XD
so we relli did ENJOYED ourselves marking down and taking away marks off those insolent *toot*


had bpt tutorial at 2pm
n a miracle happened.
i actually ATTEMPTED the bpt tutorial in class
for the first time ever since i attended bpt tutorials,
i actually took out my calculator, keyed in the numbers, wrote them down..
n it was the correct answer. o.O

dat urged us to do a more indepth research on our topic

coz i was 80% certain that my ans was correct in the first place

if you still havent heard the news,
my com is currently running on 3gb of ram!
(ram as in Random Access Memory, n sf, pls dun tell me abt putting meena into my com instead)
anyway, for the IT noobs out there,
more ram enables u to run more programs at once
means, i can run 3 games + msn + media player + dl + 10 internet windows + and so on
yet i won't feel any lag! =D


anyway, after the ram upgrade, my memturbo got screwed up.. o.O

The pic of my taskbar, you just have to look at the icon to the left of my messenger icon. That's memturbo. It calculates the free ram i have at that particular moment.
#1 - before my ram upgrade; i was running at 1gb ram
#2 - just after my ram upgrade; see that the number exceeds the box? not only that, the value was STUCK at 2047, until i run many applications at once which will lower it below 2047.. in short, memturbo does not support com with ram exceeding 2047, or even anything with more than 3 digits since it doesnt fit the box.. =/
#3 - this is after i got my hands on the lastest version of memturbo. finally the correct value of my current free ram is shown.. zzz..

let me rant abt that damned protein model for pt e-assignment

i spent the whole night working on beautifying that damned model
n i actually only managed to get my sleep at 7am
onli to wake up at 8.30am to prepare for sch

so most of the class have already submitted their models for reviewing ytd
only leaving 2 groups awaiting judging today
so, as we were awaiting for mr michael to inspect our protein models,
the situation was quite farnie
its like at one side, there was cassey's cute model,
with all the colorful deco and other cute stuff.
at the other side, there was my model,
with its overwhelming size that can squash her model anytime.. o.O


is there a lesson to be learnt here?
yeap.. "large size is not equals to huge costs"
take cassey's cute model.. with most of the materials bought from ps.. $13
take my gargantuan model.. with most of the materials bought downstairs.. $1.75
aren't i such a cheapo? XD

its rather of a disappointment, esp for my immuno
well, i have to admit, the speculations that i posted in my blog aren't exactly my true targets that i set for myself
