Yesterday was a big day,
so lets blog abt ytd, shall we? =D


- 24th May 2008 - aka. TP day
woke up at 7.15am
prepared for my big day! =D
was 5mins late for mi driving lesson in the morning
supposed to be at 7.45, but i turned up at 7.50
coz mi mum asked me to do lots of stuff la
like..
take ablution, drink water enchanted wif recitations,
memorise a verse to be recited b4 i start the engine..
=/


drove off to ubi
jeff gave reminders of wad to do
i can sense his uneasiness coz i didnt take enough lessons
he was like.. giving me a crash course on blindspot checking


reached ubi n went into the circuit
tried all the stations again
mi slope balancing sucked as usual
stalled the engine once
my vertical parking wasnt straight
parallel parking was crappy
crank course n s-course were irritating
coz always got one bugger in frnt of me who goes DAMN slow
n im the kind who will make mi instructor go
"u r going too fast.. slow down.."
coz i can navigate thru tight spaces at relatively fast speeds
=X


lesson ended at 8.50am for me to proceed to the waiting rm
got my last bit of briefing frm jeff of wads to happen during the test
den waited in the waiting rm until 9.05
i was begining to panic at this pt of time
9.20 briefing ended, n i was SUPER calm at diz pt of time
managed to calm myself down
mi name was called n i went to the car wif mi examiner
he looked like a nice guy.. o.O


started the engine.. and i was feeling freaking calm la
dunno why.. mebbe coz the examiner looked v frenly?

anyway, first stop.. slope balancing.
it was.. flawless.
for the first time.
omg la..

parallel parking after dat
n i parked senget. =X (aka. nt straight)
but mi steps were perfect, so examiner closed one eye. =X

nxt.. vertical parking
it was FREAKING STRAIGHT. PERFECT LA.
i got FOUR demerit pts here for failure to comply to safety
why? check diz out:
time limit given: 3mins
time for me to complete parking: 10s
yea, i got marked down for parking at high speed. -.-"
"i can park faster den u datz why u nt happi izit!?"

den crank course n s-course
i FORCED myself to go slow
was super tempted to go fast, but didnt want him to mark me down
so yea, these 2 were fine. =)

n out to the roads we go!
the examiner was v nice la..
told me smth like..
"in frnt u turn right.. and stick to the right lane, coz after dat u r going to turn right again."
so nice rite? =)

anyway, we had a nice chat while i was driving down the roads
here's the conver:
him: "so.. u're still schooling?"
me: "yea.. poly."
him: "which poly? temasek?"
me: "nope. nanyang."
him: "u look like chinese actually, but i saw ur name den eh? malay?"
me: "haha.. yea.. coz my mum was adopted into malay family"
him: "i see.. so how many driving lessons did u took so far?"
me: "ehhhhhh.............. can't rmb."
*in my mind: ritee... i rmb it clearly actually..*
him: "got reach 30 lessons?"
me: "ehhhhhh.............. relli can't rmb."
*in my mind: so fake. lol. 30? if u ask me 15 lessons den MAYBE got la! =X*
him: "wad abt circuit?"
me: "ehhhhhh.............. can't rmb oso."
*in my mind: again so fake. i onli went into the circuit 4 times b4 today. =X*

moral of the story: actually, there is no way that i can pass. i didnt even qualify for the required amount of hours on the road before taking the test. =X


went back to the test centre, and headed upstairs
examiner told me wad were my weaknesses b4 my results was revealed
while he was ticking my test sheet
n in the midst of it, he said diz:
"so later, u go downstairs and watch the safety video"
*i remain expressionless, as if those words had no meaning*
*in my heart: MWAHAHAHA. I PASSED LIAO WORX! WOOHOO!!!!! XDXDXD*
five seconds later.. on the test sheet..
"16 demerit points. PASSED."
hehex. =D


met up wif jeff after dat
told him the great news
n he congratulated me, wholeheartedly
den he said.. *in a bit of a disbelief voice*
"but u took v little lessons lei.."

online the whole day today, coz its e-learning day
n dere isn't any e-learning stuff to be done
erh.. or at least to my knowledge, there isn't
yeah, let's hope im correct. =X


i was basically slacking at hm for almost the whole day sia..


left hm at 8.15pm for driving juz now
on the roads at nite, for the first time
very ****ed up experience
enough le.. lets nt talk abt it.. haha


yawnz.. TP on saturday
only left with one more driving lesson prior to the test, thus i'm..
unprepared? =/


well, i just got a new bag the other day
i totally luv it~!
the sleezy rugged design juz makes me feel so happy while wearing it
how much it costed me? i haf no idea. o.O


anyway, bought a bunch of other stuff too
like keychains with embroided wordings
lolz.. "u think i care?" XD


my stomach was growling earlier on..

this place is getting dustier by the minute
it's been freaking long since my last update
n im nt even updating when i have my driving
simply coz i dun bother any more..
coz, my mum is paying for the other half of my driving lessons!
*the past agreement was mi dad pay half, i pay the other half*
so now.. i dun nid to pay anything~! XD

lets talk abt mi most recent driving lesson
it was last saturday
when i went to the circuit
lets see...
mi vertical parking is gd a always
parallel parking improved, so now all my parking methods are gd to go
only prob is, im doing it too fast
mi instructor was complaining dat actually i shld go at a slower speed
i complete my vertical parking in slightly abv 10s
when i'll be given more den 1min for it during the test. =/


crank course n s-course all gd to go
tho most of the time i go too fast n almost bang onto the slow bugger infrnt
geez.. i hate slow drivers..
even when im one, but i dun drive THAT slow
seriously, i tink if i step out of the car n push the car wif my own hands, i tink it will move faster den how they drive.. -.-"
noobzone sux sia.. =/


so.. only prob left now is my slope balancing
stalled the engine 4 times *WTF!?*
i got super pissed after dat
can relli see the diff
coz after dat i relli whacked the gas pedal
the theory book states dat the tachometer shld be arnd 1.5 when starting up
now i over rev up to 3.5 when starting up
n my acceleration technique is 3x faster
plus.. usually i go like.. 45km/h on normal roads
the other day i went 70km/h. =X


im becoming a reckless driver.. >.<" "whack the gas pedal la~!!!"
