i hate working on a messy desktop
so i told him to clear his files
2 wks later, he still did nth,
and so i reminded him.
the wk after, the clutter was still dere
so i gave him another gentle reminder..
until today i was like "wad the shingz! how long is he gonna take to clear this up!?"

turns out, it's the last name of a legendary debaucher in the 1700s

wad i found interesting abt him was his views on womanizing
he compared it to a storyplot;

nic talked to me out of the blue today
asking when i'm enlisting
when i still have yet to go for the review medical appointment
and so he "enlightened" me that at this rate,
i'm nt even going to enlist any time diz yr
since the final batch of enlistees goes in on 22nd oct
oh great.
means i have lots of free time on my hands
time to get a new job...


however, i didn't have to look far..
the opportunity was staring at my face.
and so my search for a new job came to an end..
when i signed up for wad ppl usually call "The Greatest Job on Earth";
starting my career as the manager for the renown football club - Man Utd
with all my players skeptic abt my capabilities
as i was being appointed w/o any known football managerial background

i stared at the longer than average list of players in my first squad
scratching my head.. figuring wad to do with all the raw talents..
the damned 67-yr-old-scottish-bubblegum-chewer overdid it this time.
it's more like a pathetic attempt to reproduce the miracle he made when he signed ronaldo frm sporting cp

but i played it my way.
i cropped my team, selling and loaning off the extras..
and led my man utd to 3 straight victories right off the bat
3-0, 5-0, 6-0.
and i was beginning to rock the game.
oh wait, you mean i forgot to tell you that it's just a game?
yes, it's Football Manager 2010.
(nt to mention the first handful of matches you play are usually just friendlies) =X

overall the game is quite a nice improvement frm fm09
the game engine is smoother, and the 3D match view is a lot better
ppl may say the new tactics GUI is better as u can give more specific instructions
but i say it's damn cheat. it's like spoon-feeding you how to set up your gameplan
seriously.. *goes to the tactics screen.. chooses the tactic u want like an mcq qn.. and tada~*
a competent manager drafts his own tactics dammit~!!
with all that said however, i dunno if it's just me
or are my players STILL having a high tendency to strike the post n crossbar.. o.O


okay back to reality.
i shall reconsider my options after my appt on the 23rd
might as well amass more moolah for my further studies

i've been absent frm blogging for quite some time
nt becoz im busy or anything
just dat i didnt get the right feel for blogging yet
yeap, words shld be able to flow freely frm my fingertips in order to make a quality blogpost.

im still rotting at hm as usual.
i haven't been out for quite some time if nt for the hari raya visitings
my skin is devoid of sunlight..
im starting to think im turning into a vampire
when was the last time i hang out with frens..
its been far too long.

my handphone has been silent for almost 2mths
well.. nt exactly.. i can count 16 sms received ever since the beginning of september
out of which 9 of it are adverts.
so much for unlimited free sms.. lol

in case u havent heard, my appointment with CMPB has been shifted back yet again
this time due to the doctors going to sumatra for earthquake relief aids
so im going for my appointment on the 23rd of oct
n one of my last salvation datz keeping my social circle torch alive,
immanuel - enlists on 21st oct
perfect.

and so now i have so much more time to waste
free-flow of movies won't sustain quenching my boredom for long
im getting physically weaker day by day
all that i do every day is sit in frnt of the com for 9hrs at least
i think i nid to pick up a new skill

talking abt that, im starting to realise i don't have that much life skills to begin with
well, i can name you a few things im gd at..
1. cooking instant noodles
(wyd's instant noodle theory.. 20mins to cook, 2mins to eat! so.. the 'instant' part of the equation is the eating part; nt the cooking.) XD
2. being a cheapo
3. eating with only one spoon (and no fork)
4. hæcking. (don't ask any further wad im implying)

nice skillset i got there eh..
